Join Danny to celebrate the official beginning of Summertime in the Irish/Celtic calendar. Witnessing nature at this time is a joy, the birds are busy nesting, the flowers are in bloom & the buds are developing as fruit on the trees & bushes. Bealatine is a significant time in the annual cycle of life & our ancestors celebrated it by holding fire ceremonies, the largest in Uisneach (The Mythological & Sacred centre of Ireland) in County Westmeath. The name Bealtaine derives from two Gaelic words Bel & Taine which translates as Bright Fire. In this event we will open Sacred Space, offer a shamanic cleanse, hold a sacred fire ceremony & engage in a drumming journey. The event will take place in Creacon at 7:00pm-9:30pm on Sunday May 5th 2024.
Danny Ahern is a practicing Shaman, who received his training in the Irish Centre for Shamanic studies, Dunderry, County Meath & Smithfield, Dublin with Sli an Chroi.
During this event the following healing will be offered:
- Opening sacred space
- Shamanic cleansing
- Shedding old trauma & grief
- Embracing new growth
- Fire Ceremony
