Join Danny and celebrate the fire festival of Samhain which mark’s the beginning of the ancient Celtic new year.

It is the end of the harvest season & the beginning of the darkest time of the year in Ireland. It’s a time of transition to feminine energy which is the opposite to the summer when male energy is present. When one thinks of a baby in the womb it’s life begins in darkness, as do seeds germinating in the Earth. Our ancestors believed life began in darkness. Samhain is the beginning of the season of darkness, death & rebirth.

The Native Irish/Celts believed that Samhain is the time of transition when the veils of the worlds are at their thinnest & the spirits of all who died since last Samhain moved to the after life. Commonly known around the world in modern times as Halloween, this ancient fire festival has it’s origins in County Meath, Ireland.

Embrace new beginnings as we enter the darkest period of the year. Shed what no longer serves you & embrace the hibernation period allowing all aspects of life including death to be part of life’s natural rhythm.
