The Cauldron of Ceridwen.

A storytelling event to celebrate the Winter Solstice.

This is the Welsh version of the Story of 'The Salmon of Knowledge'.

The Great Welsh Goddess, Ceridwen decides to take matters in her hands when she discovers there is something wrong with her son. Her magic potion does not work quite as she had predicted it would. We all desire change but are we ready for it? When it comes, how often do we wish we had not bothered as it is so uncomfortable? In this storytelling session, we will listen to Ceridwen’s story and apply it to our lives as we prepare for the return of the Sun at Midwinter. The story will be told by Baya Salmon-Hawk, a local storyteller and there will be time to reflect upon its meaning for our lives. You will take away a sense that transformation is possible and how you might allow it to happen.
